The Creative Warehouse Journey

A look back at one of TCW’s first shoots.

As the year comes to an end, I’ve been thinking a lot about how far The Creative Warehouse has come. December always feels like a natural pause, a chance to look back before we leap into a new year of big ideas, big dreams, and even bigger shoots.

One moment I’ll never forget is one of our very first sessions at TCW with Julia Forte Film & Photography and the beautiful brand Jess from For The Pause.

At the time, the studio was freshly finished, the paint still drying, furniture only just in place, and me still processing the fact that this big, wild idea had become something real.

I remember standing in the space after the shoot wrapped up, feeling this overwhelming wave of pride. It wasn’t just about the photos (which were stunning). It was about the fact that someone trusted my brand new studio, a space I had built from scratch to bring their creative vision to life.

What still surprises me today is that same feeling hasn’t faded.
Every shoot, every creator who walks through the doors, every brand that chooses TCW… it all brings back that original spark.

TCW has grown so much since that early shoot. We’ve hosted creators, brands, small business owners, product photographers, podcasters, and marketing teams. We’ve watched businesses evolve, seen confidence grow behind the camera, and been part of their journeys in ways I never imagined when this was just a dream.

As we head into 2026, I’m genuinely excited for what’s ahead. More shoots. More creativity. More community. More moments I’ll look back on one day and think, “That was the beginning of something.”

Here’s to many more shoots that make me feel exactly the way I felt that very first time.
